We have been informed that Oxfordshire Age UK have launched a coffee morning.
We have been writing about all kinds of events happening in Bicester this last month. From the Christmas lights switch on, parkrun, Cafe 103 and all kinds of community groups. We thought next up we'll look at few photos from Bicester's past and present starting at the Causeway of the town and up Church Street.
We have covered a lot of ground this past two months, letting you know about community groups you can attend to help your mental wellbeing. To further support you, we are going to promote more projects relating to physical exercise that can also boost your mental wellbeing.
We went along to St Edburg’s coffee morning on Saturday to enjoy a hot drink and loads of cake. We enjoyed making new friends and learning more about the Church.
This week we joined the Open Doors Café based at Bicester Methodist Church. They provide a warm and comfortable space for people who can meet and make new friends. The cafe is open every Friday from 12pm to 1.30pm providing a free delicious meal.
Every week we aim to bring you another reason to visit Bicester primarily through Bicester Market.
A few weeks back we went to Bicester Green on Sheep Street to check out the repair café.
We are loving taking a deep dive into Bicester’s history recently. Every day we are hearing of awesome stories of how Bicester has developed over the decades. Another contributor to Bicester’s heritage is a place called Lisseters of Bicester an established antiques and furniture antique dealer.
We have been really busy covering events in Bicester for the past 3 months since pushing our Facebook page.
If you are a keen wrestling fan, then Bicester Leisure Centre is the place to be this Saturday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm ran by Superstars of Wrestling.

Every Friday on Sheep Street Bicester Market host a number of stalls offering quality goods and products from 9am to 4pm. We have been covering a number of stalls and this week we thought we would write about the brown bread bakery.
On Saturday we visited the Bicester Art Club exhibition at Bicester Library. We saw lots of beautifully created artworks from landscapes and other varieties of art.
Through November and December last year we have been plugging the Scramble event at Bicester Heritage. Well, it is finally here tomorrow dated Sunday 5th Janauary 2025.

We went along to Knit and Natter today at Bicester Library. This is a community group that takes place every Monday at the library from 2.30pm to 4pm. Here is their poster.
