Bicester Art Network, a community art network, is delighted to announce another amazing exhibition of artistic talent by local artists. There will be an eclectic mix of genres on show, including Casimira’s Quirky Art, Celine Arty Kiddy, Cathy Read Art, Vivien Sieber Pottery, David Meeks Watercolours, Chloe Brown Art and many more.
The event will bring together local artists to the high street again adding a touch of culture to delight and surprise residents and visitors alike. Many artists have exhibited with us before, but there will be a growing number of new artists exhibiting with us for the first time.
This includes the stunning work of Chloe Brown with her intuitive understanding of the subjects she paints. Her work shows emotion, power and movement through the power of brush stokes and using texture to enhance her compositions. It is her ability to spark the soul of the animals she paints draws us towards the need to conserve our natural world.
Popular artist Casimira Mostyn brings her quirky folk art with many beautiful home accessories that bring joy and meaning to the home. Best know in recent times for painting the community Piano in Pioneer Square which brought so much fun and excitement to the town last summer.
We are particularly pleased to welcome David Meeks, from the Bicester Art Club, has been painting for many years. David has a passion for local scenes in and around his home town of Bicester and Oxford. Many scenes are historical records of our past and show how the town has developed over the years.
Liz George joined us for the first time in November 2021 and joins us once again with her ever popular Macrami. Liz’s ability to create useful and beautiful items is amazing, ideas ranging from a key ring to bottle holders for your next festival outing.
Cathy Read’s Contemporary Architectural Art offers vibrant colours in watercolour and ink created with masking fluid drawings. Her urban landscapes are full of detail whether it’s a ground breaking architecture or remnants of the past gone by.
